About the company
The Italian firm, legally established in Cusano Milanino (MI), has been formulating and trading completely vegan food supplements since 2017. Riccardo Zanella, the owner, has provided all his skills gained both at University (Faculty of Science and Food Technologies) and at work (food and pharmaceutical industries) for the realization of this project, motivated by his passion for Nutraceutics, a scientific discipline that studies the principles contained in foods with beneficial effects on health. About the product
Nutra B12 is a vegetal supplement of Cyanocobalamin, the most used form in the production of vitamin B12 supplements. The latter is essential not only for those who have chosen a vegan lifestyle, but for all who have a deficit of this vitamin caused by various factors, such as celiac disease, deficiency of intrinsic factor, use of antiacids which limit the absorption of it, and surgical operations to the digestive system. Vitamin B12 is involved in the formation of red blood cells, it contributes to maintain low levels of homocysteine, avoiding cardiovascular disorders and it helps to keep the nervous system healthy. It’s naturally produced by bacteria in the soil or in the water: nowadays even farm animals take it through the supplements, because they can’t assume it directly from the soil as in the past.
